Don’t miss out on seeing the World Premier of Opposites Attract, an international textile art display from Studio Art Quilt Associates – SAQA – makes its world premier in Australia.

Opposing forces shape our reality in ways that are both readily apparent as well as hidden. Artwork included in this exhibit explores contradictions and affinities: Yin and Yang, the irresistible force versus the immovable object, black and white, and other types of opposites.

Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc. (SAQA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the art quilt: “a creative visual work that is layered and stitched or that references this form of stitched layered structure.”

Over the past 30 years, SAQA has grown into a dynamic and active international community of 3,700+ artists, curators, collectors, and art professionals. Their vision is that the art quilt is universally respected as a fine art medium.
